GGPoker, Mystery Battle Royale $0.25

4 players left and the prize structure is $1.00 - $0.75 - $0.50 for 3 players in the bubble. SB is not at the table.

GGPoker, Hold'em No Limit - 150/300 (60 ante) - 4 players
Hand delivered by CardsChat

UTG: 11,444 (38 bb)
BU (Hero): 3,071 (10 bb)
SB: 99 (0 bb)
BB: 3,386 (11 bb)

Pre-Flop: (579) Hero is BTN with Q J
UTG calls 300, Hero raises to 690, 2 players fold, UTG 3-bets to 4,800

Should I call to chase the bounty despite the range disadvantage?

If SB is sitting out and sure to bust this hand, then I would jam over the limp. With 10 BB we never raise small, we always jam or fold. Perhaps you can make an exception with KK or AA to induce action but not with QJ. As played I guess you have to call it off due to pot odds and the bounty. If SB will still have 99 chips left after folding this hand, then I would fold and wait for SB to bust before taking on the chip leader.

I'm not a big fan of this play. Just call and see the flop instead of putting yourself in a jam. UTG is giving you a free look but instead you want to try him out.

Its not a free look, since Hero is BTN. I glossed over the option of limping behind, which is less bad than min-raising, since it does not reopen the betting for the chipleader. But we still risk, that BB jam on us, in which case we will need to fold. Also looking at it again, even if we jam, we probably dont have much fold equity, since the chip leader can go after two bounties. So honestly the best play here as the second shortest stack is probably to just fold and let the other two guys bust SB. If we are lucky, then the chip leader might bust BB as well, so that we take second place.
