First pre flop i loss from AJo, second from 52s but we have same suits.

You played it correctly — that’s just variance. In another runout, you could just as easily have won both hands.

In both hands stacks were to short to do anything other than jam preflop. Losing preflop all-ins is part of tournament poker, so you need to get used to it and stop worrying about it :)

This will happen many times, and for me, the hardest part is staying calm after a situation like this and making good decisions. Don't worry, just look at how well you played, and next time you'll win.

As others have said, there wasn't much we could do... It's part of poker!
Actually, these are pretty standard plays that we face daily playing poker.

Wouldn't a 3-bet be appropriate here?
I mean, the opening of almost 5bb doesn't leave us much room, but is it still possible?

Although I think it wouldn't make much difference in the end because someone who makes this type of opening would almost never fold post-flop even if they haven't hit anything and still have almost 15bb behind (also not covering the bounty),

Does the bounty always make our play all-in there, or is that unrelated to the reward?

We are nowhere near deep enough with a 21,7 BB stack to 3-bet to a non all-in sizing against such a large open. So the other option would be to just call in an attempt to induce aggressive players behind to squeeze, so we can snap them off and get it in against them. With this stack size distribution it could actually be a cool play to just flat even a more normal say 2,2BB raise.

In that way we can induce one of the bigger stacks behind to go bounty hunting, and then back-jam, if they put in a 3-bet. If we make a small 3-bet to say 5,5BB from UTG+1, we look ridiculously strong and are probably not getting much more action, than if we just jam. So even against a small raise I probably just stick it in here and hope, than someone wants to try to win my bounty.

Bounty or regular MTT this is 100% a jam all day long.
