It is easy to reason by looking at the result. In this situation, I would only consider my bankroll. If the buy-in for this tournament is at least 20% of my bankroll, I would call. If the tournament buy-in is too high for me, I would probably discard my cards.

its optimal solution 95% of the time and once in 20 hands maybe its against AA.

You have to call here, every single time.

Reasons not to would be on the actual bubble and you are say in 5/6th spot and the 2nd all in player covers you, and maybe its higher than usual buy ins.

Here you are only 50/50 to cash anyway, and have to take this spot

I still think you made the right decision. And that's true no matter what anyone says. If you're going to fold hands like KK in tournaments of this format, then you simply need to find something else to do.

Are you actually putting 20% of your bankroll in only 1 MTT or was that some kind of miss click?

MTT standard bankroll is 100 buy ins or more- some suggest 200 so 1% in any given MTT taking a shot would be 5% of bankroll

Or if you do not mean bankroll but poker "allowance" then 20% would be fine as you can replace it from other income.
