All-in preflop bluff on SB/BB

Hi guys,
Here is my last hand from the sunday High School tournament:

I wonder what would you do in such situation?
The blinds are pretty big, final table is coming and the time's running out...

When we talk about bluffing - there is no single answer yes or no. Of course your hand is not too good for autopsy. But trying to take money - has the right to exist.

Your hand is not even suited. I know there are shoving hand charts on the web somewhere. I haven't ever used them but K2 off is not a shoving hand. Pick a better spot.

If you were really short stacked, it makes sense to go all in and may be flop two pair but with the chips you have and with the chips bb has, K2 is not a good hand.

You gambled with poor hand, you lost.

Now you are short stacked and need to move all in to get atleast the antes worth. lol.

I assumed that he probably don't even have king, everybody else fold and chances were good that he will fold also.
My stack wasn't so bad, but I thought I should take an opportunity to stole the blinds.

You must be more careful and more patient, and I perfectly understand you like I do in certain situations, but I think HUD could help you in these situations.

Personally at that point you still have a substantial amount of chips. I would've just called there hoped for the best. After the flop you would've known where you stood as far as how strong you were. But in all reality K2 off should've been folded

It is correct to shove here with this piece of cheese.
Depending on you your opponent if you feel he is a very good/experienced player then you can just fold it.

What you should absolutely not do is limp.

If the BB is super tight/NIT I don't mind it, but eventually if done enough with weak hands, the BB will snap you off and take all your chips. id like a 2.5 to 3x raise and fold to a shove more.

It depends on the BB. If he is NIT, you can shove almost any hand here. K2 is really weak though so when he calls you are always behind.
It is a gamble, not on cards. More on the type of villain you play with

Your stack was very short, therefore the situation required some actions from you. And if the opponent on BB before you was not loose player your actions were right, because chances that he had bad hand were very big and in many cases he threw his hand. It was misfortune for you, so don`t worry)

Honestly, in this situation, I shove ATC here 100% of the time.

How short of a stack is "really short stacked" to you?

Just take a look at the stack sizes of the table. Everyone is more or so equally stacked.

You can't squeeze up and go all in with any two. They are gonna call with any good cards they feel. OP has still a healthy stack compared to others at the table. OP will be BB in 6 hands and he can get good cards for a shove at this table with these blinds and stacks.

Everyone, with the exception of one player, is short or extremely short stack. Even the exception is still pretty short.

OP is an extremely short stack. The fact that you think his stack is "healthy" is ridiculous. Thinking OP should fold and lose 10% his stack in antes and hope to get a good hand in BB with even less fold equity is ridiculous. And the fact that you'd give up a great spot to shove and pick up a ton of dead money that represents ~40% of your current stack.

Folding here is terrible.
