Best style of play for tournament poker?

What do you feel is the best approach to going deep in a tournament?
I find that my play is generally pretty passive. I tend to make it close to the money often enough, but I have blinded out and busted on the bubble because my stack is just too small on a bunch of occasions as well.
Should you be more aggressive in the begining and throughout the tournament, and if this leads to you being knocked out early than you just need to focus on the next, but if you make it deep, you have a big enough stack to really fight for it, or is the passive approach that gets you to run deep more often, the better approach?

Tourneys are fun because you don’t have to play the same style throughout.
When it first starts you can play super tight, sit and figure out your opponent and pay attention to what they are doing so you can start developing strategies on how to counter and beat these people later.
Then a few rounds later when the blinds are getting bigger and the big blind ante kicks is we can open up and start attacking.
Then when it gets close to the bubble we can play a different style. Then when the bubble breaks we can do a different style.
It’s always changing depending on your chip stack, your opponents chip stack, their style, and where we are in the tournament.
So try not to just pick one style, learn them all because in a tournament we need to use them all at one time or another.

I like to analyze my opponents, how they play, their bets, then wait for the good opportunity and start using my strategy, although sometimes I don't achieve my goals.

At the beginning it's better to play tight till u collect some chips. Then go more aggressive. It's good strategy

I think that TAG is the most profitable.
LAG players use to have very good results, but for me is the more difficult style to play. The difference between a a shark and an idiot is small when playing this way.

In my opinion, I think patience is the most key asset that must be put into practice in any poker game. Of course, when you get close to making money in a tournament, it (patience) is attacked by adrenaline 🙂, and you feel like doing anything to make money and of course you take risks, but risk is not a solution. Patience is the solution to making money.

I played a tourney and watched everyone for about two hours...they all seem convinced i was a joke.
When i started to make moves it blindsided them all and i went straight to the final table easy
