Hello friends I am a cash player but lately I have been interested in tournaments and what I struggle the most in blind defense

Just use some general charts to start with, but also use your intuition, if defending feels wrong in a particular hand then don't do it.....

Don't defend too much with what look like decent hands, Ax Kx vs early posistion raises, as these are more likely to dominate you.....

You are getting great odds though, which is incentising you to call if you are pretty deep stacked

Blind defense in MTTs is tricky, especially coming from cash.

You need to defend tighter than cash, because stacks are shallower and ICM matters.
Focus on position and stack size — defend wider with deeper stacks, tighter when short.

Against late position opens, you can mix in 3-bet shoves with strong/medium hands.

Avoid marginal calls out of position — they create tough postflop spots.
