I'm curious for people's thoughts on this topic. I've noticed that in microstakes, as blinds get bigger and stacks get shorter(like 30BB and less), players on the button will sometimes raise bigger than usual, as in 4-4.5BB rather than 2-3BB. I know we can usually call raises fairly wide from the big blind, given we're usually getting good odds, and I assume we should be calling a tighter range accordingly vs plays like this. Curious as to how much this should affect the calling (and 3bet?) range, especially vs looser opponents you often get in microstakes who seem to love abusing these sorts of aggressive plays.

If there is 1 BB total ante and someone min opens, I am defending with most cards except the worst like 82o or J2o. I'll even go with junks like 63s or 32o to see the flop because they are playable post-flop.

However, with a large opening and short stack, I'll mostly 3-bet my value hands and fold otherwise.
