I played the final table today and I noticed that I am very worried and start to tighten up and not play as I should, in general I am an aggressive player, but in the final I shut down

I think a lot of newer players do that... and on the bubble too,

I love final table and short handed play for that reason alone...,

just play your game, let the chips fall where they may😎👍

it's easy to say don't be nervous. and what to do, although the knowledge of the game is enough

I also love final tables. because these are already nice prizes, but I don't like short stacks, the aggressive stage begins

Yes I think it's normal to get a bit jiddery when more than usual is at stake. Also as mainly a cash game player I'm often not sure about icm considerations that come into play at the later stages of tournaments.

You definitely have to work on your emotions to keep playing the same game at the final table. It makes a big difference.

The more often you get to the final table, the less stress and anxiety you will have. The main thing is to play only in those tournaments in which your bankroll management allows you to play. With time and experience, the excitement will pass.

Managing these emotions and remaining calm and strategic is often what separates good poker players from the best. Those who can stay calm, read other players, and make thoughtful decisions have a significant advantage.

The more tournaments you play and the more times you are at the final table, the less you will worry.

At a final table at a big home game (60 players) I basically blinded myself out playing conservatively. Very stupid played way too tight will never do that again if I get the chance in a big tourney final table again. PLAY YOUR GAME!

That can be a good thing. One can often let all the other players knock themselves out. If you have a decent stack going into a final table oftentimes you can get to third place without playing a hand and ladder up.

I think it's okay, poker is an emotional game and even the strongest players are experiencing it

This is totally normal , this applies to the vast majority of us who play recreationally poker , I guess you will overcome this anxiety by having final tables more often, right? ;)

Never had them, in fact reaching the final table for me feels like I have already won. Pay attention to what I am about to say : Its not the destination that counts in life. Its the journey that counts!
