Hyper/Turbo???? Pros and Cons vs Regular

Trying to learn more about turbo and hyper holdem. I've drastically improved my regular holdem game so now I want to look into faster blinds. Want to know how to go about these and if there are any benefits vs regular.

They're great games to practice your push/fold game along with calling ranges vs your opponents push/fold game but at the same time variance can be massive in hyper format so you'll really want a lot of buy ins to cushion the swings.

What site are you playing on and what games do they offer for turbos/hypers?

Bovada and Carbon. SIT N GO'S and 5k guarantee is what that have that I would consider playing

Well give them a shot and analyse after each session and you'll learn the regulars game in no time and be able to start exploiting massively but if you feel any tilt coming on quit playing them for a few hours cuz tilting at hypers will cost a lot of $$$$. Hyper Turbos can be divided into 3 categories:

The beginning phase which is 90% luck. Try to double up once and see as few hands as possible.

The middle phase in which you try to pick off the blinds to stay afloat.

Once you have made the money, ship your stack when you see no more than 2 or 3 players involved in the pot. Good hands to do this with would be suited connectors, or premium hands. Avoid shipping with low pairs. It's most likely you will be called by a higher 2 cards which doesn't put in too much of a promising position.
