Since I can't trust online poker, because its all rigged in my perception, I wish I could play live.
Unfortunately that modality is not available in my town.
Therefore I'm forced to deal with this crap fake online "poker" if I want to have any practice.
Gotta pretend that I'm not seing all the obvious patterns repeating itself over and over again to zero surprise of anyone playing.

For beginners, it's best to start with online poker to quickly learn the basics and gain experience, and then move on to live tournaments once you've mastered the strategy.For experienced players, both formats can be combined to take advantage of the benefits of each.

I lean more toward online MTTs just because of the volume and convenience. You can fire up multiple tables, get tons of hands in, and build experience way faster than live. Live tournaments are amazing for the atmosphere and reads, but they’re slower and you need a whole day commitment. As for 'for money' vs MTT — I stick with MTTs since the structure suits me better, but I’ll jump into cash games if I feel like grinding steady profit instead of chasing a big score.

For me, this is just online poker. I only played live poker a couple of times, and even then with friends who had to explain the rules of the game, so that doesn't even count. I would love to play live poker, but right now it's only possible in another city, and getting there right now is just as difficult for me as it is to Mars.
