Do you play qualifiers or satellites for bigger tournament or paying the full price of the tournament buy-in? And what is better way?

If my bankroll will allow a direct entry into a tournament then I do that. Sometimes I will try to satellite into tournaments outside my bankroll requirements.

I prefer to pay full price, unless if there is a lot of overlay in a satellite tournament. Tournaments have high variance, and I dont like playing in any that are outside of what my bankroll allows.

I would rather play in a tournament, win $, and then choose whether or not it is worth spending that $ on a tournament seat.

I won a $265 MDS ticket last week and never cashed. I would of been better off with $265.

If qualification satellites are interesting, then why not?

I'm not a big fan of satellites unless they are very good value. Satellite bubbles are huge tough spots for you to be in usually and I would just rather buy straight in.
