When I have between 15 and 20bb I like to use reshove more than call. I feel like it maximizes equity. Do you prefer push/fold or play postflop with that stack?

Push/fold for me. Easier to execute and keeps pressure on.

Definitely mostly reshoving with 15-20BB, except from BB against a small open.

How can you play postflop with that? Probably only with AA there are reason not to push, but make some raise (in KO i would NOT suggest you to do it)

With 15–20 BB I usually prefer a more controlled aggressive approach. I still open-raise in good positions, but I’m ready to switch to a push/fold strategy depending on the table dynamics.

The push is always better, depending on the hand.

Call to see the flop... If I fave 0.1bbs I'm alive at the tournament.

Is the registration period still open or not?
Because that plays a very crucial part in deciding what our actual strategy should be!
A decent poker player should always be adapting both the approaches!

There's a lot of chat about shoving stack size.

In a lot of games we all play the later stages of games stacks are not that deep at all. So for example if we are at 15bbs but this equates to say 20/70 remining players, I'm not playing the same as with 15bbs and I'm 55/70 in a deeper stack tournament

Me too, shoving just forces you into a probable do or die race. Maybe the next hand was Aces and you could treble up? Who knows. Everyone has their own style.

Well, if it's not the final table, it's always a draw. But I expect a strong hand for this; I'm not going to play like that with a mediocre hand.

Obviously many players just go all-in regardless of what GTO says. In reality, especially in freeroll tournaments, when you get deeper in the event many players start playing very tight with short stacks.

Because of that, pushing all-in can be better than it seems, since players fold a lot and you can pick up blinds quite often. But that doesn’t mean you should shove with anything.

Playing aggressively in these stages of the tournament is very important, but you still need to choose your spots well.

GTO Wizard free version. Do not guess, start at GTO actions and adapt from there. It is soo easy to open the MTT 20 17 14 stack sizes and look at what you can do and think about the why of it.

Your table position still matters at 14 BB- V position still matters at 14bb- Flatting as an open AA at 14 bb from CO makes more than jamming does and it allows us to play other hands as a flat as well.

As an exploit we can flat JTs and then fold to any jam by a tight player or if the blinds just call, we could win a small pot on flop with no risk of busting preflop.

14-20 bb stacks do not have to be played only 1 way you can still make post flop decisions.

It also helps with understanding uneven stacks--we have 15 but the BB has 50 --do we really want to only have a shoving range?

I prefer a reshove-heavy strategy in the 15–20bb range too.

Flat calling often puts you in tough postflop spots with a shallow stack.
Reshoving maximizes fold equity and simplifies decisions.
That said, in position vs weaker players, mixing in some calls can work.

But overall, push/fold or reshove is usually the most profitable approach.
