Table-size dependent. If you have less players at the table you play looser.

My observations are mostly from WPT, and we only have PFR/VPIP rates there, so here what I can say about 8 and 9-max tables:

* <15% VPIP is a certified nit. Do not engage. If they limp while also having extremely low PFR (<5% with a huge gap from VPIP) think twenty times while playing against them. Overfold. If VPIP is below 8% - run.
* 17-25% VPIP with 10%+ PFR are good though somewhat nitty players.
* 25-35% VPIP with 15%+ PFR are generally decent players.
* 15-30% VPIP with low PFR are tight-passive rock players. Usually neither good nor bad. Alright.
* 35%+ VPIP with low PFR are calling stations. If it goes above 55% VPIP, you are up against a turbo calling station.
* If someone 40%+ VPIP with high PFR, it is most likely a maniac.

I believe in 6-max the stats should be around 10-15% higher, though I usually play 8 and 9-max so can't say for sure. Also mind the sample size, percentages below 10 hands mean nothing, somewhere 40+ hands is much preferable. And there is a possibility that the person was sitting out for a while which will often skew the percentages into the nitty side, so keep that in mind too.

Also field. Trying to adapt to loose-passive tables can mess up the percentages too, so you may see smaller PFR there.

I'd recommend watching the best MTT players (in different buy-in ranges) and checking out what their stats. are looking like.

I can post up a couple of the better players stats. (mid-stakes) but it's from GG and it's very limited number of hands on them. STill gives you an idea.
