Personally I think my most is 5 rebuys + 1 add-on. If I recall correctly, I ended up cashing, but still losing money in the tournament.

In women's tournaments at PokerStars, rebuys are usually unlimited, but paying more loses more than you win. I'd rather give up and try another one.

The Streamer HG could consistently have at least one person over 10 reentries. The max reentries were 29 for one hour late reg HG.

Am I the only one who has an aversion to rebuys?

But really, sometimes I see people moving all-in, losing, and coming back with the same intention! haha
I definitely don't have the patience to re-enter, I'd rather aim for another one!

On ACR MTTs people sometimes go crazy, and playing a very edgy game, especially on Home Games when they can fire up 10+ bulletts easily because of the unlimited rebuys. Players who do this, they just grab the fun side of it, because they want to experience moments like this, and they have so much money according to the buy-in to do.

One thing I can advice you if you wanna avoid multiple rebuys is just play a great game, and assimilate it with the tempo of the MTT. If it's slow & deep you more likely have to be involved in all-in situations less than a turbo or hyper one. But once again, when its just for fun, you can do some crazy stuffs and sometimes may can improve your skills to paying attention which level of aggression could work when you would playing it seriously. :)

I've seen 29 rebuys in a micro satellite one time. The player who fired that absurd amount lost more money - than the satellite ticket she was attempting to win was worth.
Check out the thread I wrote about it here.

Personally I believe if a person regularly fires more than 3-4 bullets - they have a problem. They aren't poker players - they are gamblers. I note these players because they will call down light and put all there chips in with marginal hands.

I've seen a guy doing 14 rebuys in a $1 R&A tourney on 888.

I looked him up on sharkscope and his stats seem okay and he had a big win in this tourney a few days ago.

Guess he wanted to force it but obviously it didn't work out. 🙊🤣

I have seen players making rebuys one after the other, maybe 5 times! If the tournament is a satellite with a few cents buy-in then the rebuys are continuous!

I've seen a lot of players make repurchases, of which I haven't paid attention to how many.
It's more so today in an MTT played by a German player who even though I won 2 allins, he had to make 5 rebuys and left.
I really don't like the buyback thing.
If I've done them assuming that in the first hand and if it's an important MTT, for example, AA comes to me and I lose or KK, let's say monstrous hands and I lose, then maybe I'll make a rebuy but no more.
If I pick up and lose again, I think that tournament wasn't for me and I'm looking for a new one.
Greetings friend;);););)

I never really paid attention, but recently I saw a recreational player lose and re-entry like 5-7 times in 10 hands, till I was moved to another table. The buy in was small anyway, like 11c.
IMO, I never re entry, I think that doesn't worth it, the add on, that I think a little bit more, depends on my chips amount and the position. But I never read about the correct strategy about re entries.

It indeed keeps player numbers high(er) during the late registration phase.

But try to look at it from the positive side:
Those rebuys will definitely be helpful creating a bigger prize pool. 😎

Esas recompras definitivamente serán útiles para crear un premio mayor. 😎
Yes my friend is like that.
If the prize is good, the repurchase is justified.
It happens that those who make a lot of rebuys are generally very anxious players.
They go allin 5 -10 - 20 hands or more until they hit 4 or 5 hands in a row and don't rebuy any more.
Let's say it's like playing 3rd dozen roulette and pocket 5 balls in a row and then you fold. This is how they play, total roulette players hahahaha:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Many years ago in a micro million of pokerstars the entry was $11 I had won an entry and there was a Japanese who did not stop betting everything in each hand, he lost and make rebuy, I think he made more than 20 rebuys, then years later I played in 888poker a $109 ticket that I had won and one person every time he lost all the chips rebuy I think he did like 5 rebuys

After all, it is possible to win this way, but this is the rarest case.
1 rebuy is still okay, because there can be a bad beat at any time, but you want to continue playing.
But when there are more than 5 rebuys, I guess you should look for another tournament or leave the game for that day.
