Is it blinding away? Not playing enough hands? Playing too many hands? Impatience? A few bad beats in a row (or a huge one)?

For me, it's either getting married to hand like AKs (that didnt hit), cbetting a known calling station, and getting raised all in by the river, resulting in a need to fold with a now short stack. Which needs luck to stay alive.

Or it's impatience when having a pretty low M/CSI and going all in preflop with something marginal, like AJo or 77(-).

Or finally my favorite, trying to be the table police on the bully big stack with an extremely marginal hand when he actually has a hand that time...

I'm trying to fix these up (and whichever ones replace them), but the tendencies tend to come into play at one point or another, and that's busto.

It's a little funny when I think about it, aside from the bad beats, these 3 are almost always the reason I'm out, or at least have a crippled stack.
What are yours?

Lately they are throwing me out of tournaments for bluffing on unconnected projects, in the course of my life in poker I have been eliminated by all means.

Bust out

For me it usually happens because I get bored not getting cards to play hands

I'd imagine there is way too many different "reasons" in that category ...

When I'm low on chips and..

i need one more card!

I always "believe" I'll get the dang thing, but usually don't!

All's fair at the tables and possible most times, too!

Know when to fold 'em

I most frequently get busted out of a tourney
when I do not maintain mental discipline
and bet when I know I should not

When I get lax with my observation
of my opponents' betting behavior
and ignore the signals of the opposing "big hand"
it usually gets me busted out on an all-in

When I ignore that little voice that says "he's got it",
and bet anyway, I almost always lose the hand

It’s the same here, when you spend hours getting next to nothing, gotta move forward or exit.

Usually it's because of a flip , there are spots where you have to flip , it's an essential part of MTT poker. Of course sometime I make mistakes like unsuccessful bluffs but that's the game.
Personally I don't care about the result , I want to play correctly and also I want my plays to make sense and put my opponent is tough situations.

I have a lot of patience and how to say it , many times I have lost because of my opponents' mistakes , I mean you can't call with K6s at the stone bubble phase of a good satellite against a same big stack(me) because you like your hand. :D:D:D

I Generally do pretty good, but I usually play cards i shouldn't and then I'm in a heads up and I try to bluff them all the way to the river, and it fails because he actually has a hand.:( lol.:icon_sant

River

I usually bust out because of a brutal river card.

Basically, I'm out of the tournament due to the lack of hands suitable for playing, lack of patience and inattention.

1. mental fatigue: sometimes I just want the tournament to be over and my self-discipline begins to falter

2. the notorious bad beats at the river

3. complacency: if I'm already in the bubble, my playing style shifts towards a more aggressive, daredevilish gear; sometimes it works for the best of me, other times ... well

4. misreading (underestimating) someone who until now had been playing fairly predictably, but all of a sudden turns into a chameleon

5. and last but not least: getting dealt crappy cards over and over again

Man you couldn't have said it better!! Voice in head "NOOO!! FOLD!!" My finger "CLICK IT CLICK IT BE THE HERO"
Knowing the right thing to do and doing the opposite. Over bluffing when you know you should put the brakes on cause it's gonna leave your stack crippled and needing a miracle. But, there's always a but, it sure does feel good when you bluff every street and get a lay down on 5th.
HOLY POKER!! I LOVE THIS GAME!!

There are three reasons, by mistake, a bad beat, or simply there are no good cards)))
