I play a loose aggresive game @LiviuRo123 .

Always looking for a monster hand with cheap flops early on to grow the stack.

Saying that... the most important rule for me early on in a tourney is to survive. No one ever won a tourney in the early stages, but pleanty of Peeps have lost a tourney in the early stages.

On the contrary, I don't risk much if the pot is high, but if I try to get into many hands with normal cards, sometimes draws happen or you can bluff... maybe in the middle of the tournament or later, pure pairs and premium cards.

That depends on many things - the size of the buy-in, structure, number of runners. I play only very small stakes now and make small but not very small profits. In a freeroll I might play like a lunatic to start, again depending on the size of the field and the size of the prize pool.

I just play my game regardless of whether it is early or late. In my experience the tournament is composed of highs and lows like waves. You'll have a period of where you have good betting hands, followed by a period of where you don't. Followed by a period where you do, and so on throughout the tournament. I take advantage of the good hands when I get them.

Since you are normally deepstack at early stages, I recommend playing hands with good playability: suited hands, big hands and pairs.

Bet big for value, don't bluff too much.
