Zoom Poker: Fast Fold or not?

Is it worth to fast fold in zoom poker (tournament)? On the one hand, you always have to pay the ante by fast folding. On the other hand you see more hands, you can theoretically win a pot with

There are however situations like near the bubble, when you are a short or middle stack, where playing less hands are benefitial, because it increase your chance of cashing. And in those situations using fast fold to see more hands is clearly a bad strategy. These are situations, where on the countrary you might want to take as much time as possible before folding AKA "stalling".

I don't really like cash games and especially zoom (also zoom tournaments) because I don't feel the table, it's difficult and almost impossible to build a game system, save a game plan. Then obviously dont use "fast fold" and let the action junkies do it and increase their risk of bubbling. As for Zoom tournaments as such, I think, that if you only want to play one tournament at a time, maybe from your phone, they can be a decent option, because you get to play far more hands per hour, until you get into hand for hand play or the final table.

But if like myself you are multitabling I find, that having a Zoom tournament running tends to take my attention away from the other tournaments, which is less than ideal. So I dont play them often, which is also a result of the fact, they are not particularly common. Just as with 6-max it seems like, tournament players have never fallen in love with the Zoom format to the same extend, cash players have.

I use fast fold in the beginning. When it gets close to the bubble I try to slow fold to make the money.

Zoom games also exist in knockout games, which makes it a good idea to fold, as you can catch out players with 20% or less of the starting chips ( basically the small fish must go).

In my opinion, you don't need to fold ahead of time. There are situations when no one wants to attack the blinds. If no player has made a 3-bet, then you can bet even with an middle hand and at least pick up the blinds.

Its fun to play zoom sometimes. Around 250 - 300 hands per hour. No Heads up Stats to get bothered about.
