so this is the part of the thread where I'm super amped up for everything, I'm gonna grind 100k hands a month and do this and that..

I'm too lazy for 50k hands a month tbh.

this thread is mainly to keep me more focused, but I find myself looking over my old threads and seeing how bad I was back then (not to say I'm good now) and I like making these, even if I never stick at them.

as of now I'm at 50nl/25nl 6 max/FR with about 1800 in my stars account.. the plan is 100nl on a 30bi roll by April! hopefully..

but yeah, I want to have somewhere to post hands on a consistent basis keep updates and hopefully post videos in the near future.

any videos I post will be on here, I'll be doing pure footage/commentaries/reviews/sweats.. all of it as soon as I get a headset that works on PC (mine gets feedback on PC atm, any suggestions for a headsets would be useful).

so yeah, sub for more updates!

Hey, i think ive seen you at a few of my stars tables.

I think you should open up your opening range as you only seem to showdown premiums and ive also seen you call off with a lot of draws without the right price.

Your goal is certainly ambitious... but possible.

How many tables do you typically play. I'm not sure why you mix FR and 6max. Also, do you play any Zoom.

profits are made from SD at the micros, simple as really.

and my thought process was that that line is how much you make from making people fold so for a positive redline you'd have to make people fold in big pots a lot?

I play Zoom as well, I play all games but 6 max primarily.. FR games are still soft so might as well play them since the regs are even worse than 6 max ones in general.

Yea FR is softer I'll give you that.

Your blue line will likely be higher (often much higher) in the micro limits sure but there's no reason you can't have a positive red line or at least somewhat close to break even. Anyway I don't mean to turn this into a discussion about showdown versus non showdown winnings since that's been done to death and my remark was all in good fun.

I do actually play a little bit of 50NL every once in awhile and even lower than that sometimes (the reasons aren't worth getting into) so out of curiosity I went and filtered my graph this year for that limit and got the below result. Turns out there's only 3k hands there so lol sample size, but fwiw every other limit has a positive red line as well.

But yea, like I said, more than one way to skin a cat. I'm not suggesting one way is right and one way is wrong.

just realised my post may have come off a bit arrogant.. understood, I just feel like for positive red-lines you have to try a lot harder for folds in marginal spots and its a lot easier to just value-town fish and bad regs alike all day, every day.
