But many opponents are bad, and I am probably WA if the flop goes check / check. So why not bet both the turn and river? I am reluctant to bet the flop for fear of being WB, but the check / check flop changes things. I know you think the hero is actually more likely to be WA on the flop, and that would be a different case. But for the sake of argument we were assuming that the villain has a narrow range that leaves us mostly WB on the flop. I never claimed I'd usually get two streets of value, but since I'm likely WA (depending on the turn and river cards), I see no reason not to try.
