You decided to go to your local casino and to your surprise, they handed you a $50 voucher at the door.
On it, it says that you are allowed to cash it out or insert it in some selected Slot machines and try your luck.

What would you do?

I mean if I went there to the casino for play anyway then I for sure will use that voucher you are talking about before i use any of my own money.

I think that's what I would do too. I just got there. Why not enjoy some time using that money. If I win something with it, it would be a nice bonus. And it would also add points into my card, hence free room and even something more.

But why did you go there in the 1st place? Not to play something and enjoy yourself?
Now you can do it with their money. Or at least an addition to yours.

I went there looking for their poker rooms, but instead they handed me a free voucher and there's only slots to play. So I go home! 🙃

You can also cash it out and use it in a poker buy-in.

I'm not a 'bonus hunter', that doesn't mean I don't like free stuff/extra value... and if I receive a voucher from a Casino, it means I'm somewhat of a regular player there... I'm not going to just cash out after receiving something at the door and go somewhere else to play the gift, especially if I went to the Casino to play- I'll take the voucher, say Thank You and start my session trying to win some money with it, hopefully without the need to use my own money...

Exactly what I would do.

PS: Some vouchers are given by casinos to everyone (Sometimes). No need to be a regular.

I would cash out before playing. Unless I was with other people who wanted to play, then perhaps I would run through the fifty once and walk away with whatever I had left. (fwiw, I'd much prefer blackjack over slots)

I would probably try playing slots. If the establishment gave me a voucher, I would try to use it at that casino. It would not be very ethical to exchange the voucher and just go home

I would have to stay and play some at the casino.
Like would Target give you a gift card and you walk next door to Nordstrom's to spend it. The gift card is for your loyalty to their brand.

Would you go from a Shell gas station to a BP gas station if Shell gave you a gift card, I could not.

If I decided to go to a casino, it was because I intended to gamble, right?
Better to gamble and take a chance with a free voucher than with my own money.
I would consider it a sign of good luck, because I really believe in signs!
If I started losing, well... Better to go home and accept the loss as a sign too!

If it’s a voucher, then you play the money, and to withdraw it you go to the casino cashier—I believe they’ll exchange it for chips! Once you’re in, I doubt you won’t play that money, and you’ll probably end up using your own funds too if luck isn’t on your side and you get caught in that so-called frenzy!
