I would cash out before playing. Unless I was with other people who wanted to play, then perhaps I would run through the fifty once and walk away with whatever I had left. (fwiw, I'd much prefer Blackjack over slots)

Yeah, I would cash it out but not leave. It wouldn't make any sense. I just got there, and I now have $50 more than what I came with.
Normally, when I go to a casino, I go to play poker, but with that $50, I'll be inclined to have fun by playing something else. And you're the only one here who hit the spot. It'll be certainly blackjack (And nothing else) 🤪🤣.

It would not be very ethical to exchange the voucher and just go home :)
Yeah, I think it wouldn't make any sense to leave. You just got there and have some free money on top of what you came with.

I would take the voucher and play with free money, maybe I could double it, and save my own.
I wouldn't leave either. Why go home as soon as you arrive? And you have some extra, unexpected money to start with.
But what would you play?

I would play the selected slot machine with the free voucher & keep any winnings for buy-in to poker. :)

Lol, I didn't know you're a Slot player (or gambler) YLAN-san 😂🤣.
I thought you'd add it to some of your money and play poker.

I would have to stay and play some at the casino.
Like would Target give you a gift card and you walk next door to Nordstrom's to spend it. The gift card is for your loyalty to their brand.

Definitely true. If they give me that money, they certainly expect me to spend it right there. And it's only fair. Let alone if you win with it.

If I'm already at the casino, it's because I intended to gamble...no point in cashing it out.
Well, there's nothing wrong with cashing out. But no point in cashing out and leaving since you just got there.

If I decided to go to a casino, it was because I intended to gamble, right?
Better to gamble and take a chance with a free voucher than with my own money.
I would consider it a sign of good luck, because I really believe in signs!
If I started losing, well... Better to go home and accept the loss as a sign too!

I don't really believe in signs Diva, but your reply has a lot of logic in it though.

I just got there.
I got some extra, unexpected money.
I'm definitely not cashing out and leaving.
That wouldn't make any sense at all.

You decided to go to your local casino and to your surprise, they handed you a $50 voucher at the door.
On it, it says that you are allowed to cash it out or insert it in some selected Slot machines and try your luck.

What would you do?
Of course, I would be happy to play for this money. It's a real chance to win something without risking your own money. At least, that's how I see it :)

I think that's the right way to see it. I went to the casino anyway and was going to play with my own money. Now I have the chance to play with their money. Why not? And I also have a chance to win something with it, if not, I wouldn't have lost anything.
I just don't agree with people who said they would cash out and leave????????

Of course, I go to the casino with a certain budget in mind. Those $50 would be a nice bonus for me, and I would definitely be ready to play.

You're right. Why cash out and run? You just got there and have some free money to start with.
I’m playing without taking any real risk because I’m using vouchers. I’m just testing my luck with the vouchers, and if I get lucky, I’ll cash out and celebrate.:D

$50 isn’t a lot of money, so I would definitely spend it on the slot machines or buy some chips and play poker.

If they handed me a $50 voucher, I’d probably just cash it out. Free money is free money, and I’d rather walk away with a guaranteed $50 than risk losing it on the slots. If I were feeling adventurous though, I might put a small part of it into a machine just for fun and keep the rest.

Since we're talking about vouchers, I'd sit down and play with the money. Even if I lose, it won't be a loss, it came easy, it went easy. And if the balance is positive... That's would be the best.

Easy. I would easily spend that money, and then I would spend some more of my own. I always do that :) I always spend everything I have at the casino, but no more than I can afford :)

In this case, you only got one voucher, but yes, start with it and see how it goes.

I agree on cashing it out, but walking away doesn't make any sense to me. You just got there and willing to spend some of your own money, why would you leave right away when you just got some free money to start with?

Definitely what I would do. I wouldn't play Slots though. Maybe some Blackjack or poker.

You might even get lucky with that $50 and not touch the money you came in with.
