In theory it should pay the exact same return as the base game but there are two major problems with that logic:

The price.
Variance

Buying 100 spins at $1 each and paying $100 to win back $95 doesn't seem like a far fetched thought - most slots' RTP is in the 92-96% range, and most have the same RTP for the buying bonuses. But, risking $100 to win $95 on one spin won't always work out.

Sure it might hit and you win $200 or even more, but more often a single bonus buy will lose more than what 100 spins would, and if you buy a few bonuses back to back and all lose, you can quickly find your bankroll plummet,

That's exactly why I asked. I bought "Free spins" a few times, but the amount won was less than the price .

Hey Ron, you know I have no experience in slots, but that contest got me into learning a little about bonuses, scatters etc.
This option to buy "free spins" caught my attention. I was thinking, are they going to help you win? But like you said, just another way of emptying your wallet. I bought it for 10K and won 1,800 lol.

But if you buy them and the total winnings happen to be less than the price you paid, I don't think you would say that ;):ROFLMAO:.

Hey guys,

As you might have seen, CC added another holiday competition for some $$$ to grab:

Pragmatic Play CardsChat Promo:⚡Fortune of Olympus⚡$1500 in Prizes

Question: Is buying "Free spins" always profitable or does it make you end up losing the amount invested most of the time?

I've only ever play slots on fun play mode. How does 'buying' free spins work? And how does that relate to winning cash prizes?

I did not know this till "YOU" got me into playing slots 🤪🤣.

In the "Santa Bonanza" game for example, all you have to do is click on the blue button to buy the bonus instead of waiting to hit it. Same thing in the "Fortune of Olympus" where you can buy free spins. They are expensive though, and the outcome is not always pleasant.

Ohhh, I see! So, for instance, in the Ho Ho Tree game, you wouldn't have to keep spinning and spinning to get to the bonus (lighting up the tree)?

Nope. But like I said, it's not that cheap. You need to build a nice balance 1st so you'd be able to afford buying the bonus.
Just click and you'll see the price.

Actually, I'm sorry Tammy. You asked about the HO HO TREE game. In that one, I did not see any bonus or free spins buying button. You just need to keep spinning I think.

I don't know the answer to your question but I have to say this stake platform is a pretty interesting new site. They also offer Poker and seems to attract a lot of crypto gamblers.

I think “buying” free spins is risky. If someone is unlucky, they may buy more to recover their losses. If someone is lucky enough to win a lot, it can trigger an “addiction” to buying free spins, which can lead to bad results. Good luck, Sami!

Thank you, Diva, but you don't have to wish me good luck about slots. I don't play them, period. But I got into them (Free spins) only to participate in the contest I mentioned above.
As to this "Buying free spins" business, according to what I saw, you're totally right. It's a losing losing situation. If you buy them and lose, it would be a disappointing outcome, and if you win, you'll certainly be tempted to buy again, and again, and so on...
