Nowadays, there are so many content creators everywhere.

Have you ever had a poker vlogger at your table?
If yes, did you mind being filmed?
If you refused, can you tell us why?

I only play online. But I can say that if there was a blogger at my table filming me without my permission, his phone would most likely be smashed.

Lol. Fortunately, that would never happen because they ask first. And in most vlogs, you only see the table, the hands, the cards and the chips. You can hear the voices but see no faces.

Bloggers help newcomers understand the rules, math, and psychology of the game. Viewers become attached to streamers, watching their progress and learning from their mistakes. Personally, I haven't played with any of these streamers and don't even know them personally.

I follow a couple of Vloggers on YT purely for the Vegas experiences and they always ask - some casinos refuse but in the main, as long as you check with security, that politeness can get you a long way.
Camera down, walking the floor is usual approach unless someone consents and even then its minimal content, we want to see the action right? ;)
I have not had any personal experience of this but i would be cool if someone asked first up.

Never had a poker vlogger in my table & if I would ever see one, I would refuse to be filmed for privacy reasons.

In the casinos I've been, they're very strict not to allow taking pictures or videos inside the casino. Many players get irritated with such & expects that casinos implement privacy policies.

A lot of people do that actually, wanting to appear on the vlog. I don't see anything wrong with it either way.

Well it's not allowed to film in casinos here so don't think that would be an issue,

I don't go much but don't think I'd find that very relaxing,

but who knows, depends on who it was I guess😎👍

Fortunately, I haven't encountered any bloggers. I have nothing against creativity and content creators, but please, I would prefer to stay out of it.

If you play live games at casinos, you'll end up meeting one of them. There are so many now.

They always ask first, which is how it's supposed to be U think.
And if you play live often enough at casinos, you'll definitely end up meeting one of them.

You will someday if you play enough live games. I think it's fun. Besides, you always have the choice of being on the vlog or not.

True. Some casinos refuse to allow filming inside their premises, but more and more of them are coming along considering the free publicity they're getting thanks to those vloggers.
As to the players, no one takes their pics or records them playing without their consent.

Don't think that they're a source of distraction or anything.
They sit and play like everyone else with their phone in front of them. They don't film everything either. It's after they leave that they start editing and inserting their voice.

I was at the wsop in Vegas, and we had one of them on my table - never forget, cos not only was she filming us, but she had dark glasses on, and she would stare at any opponent she was in the hand with.

After a while, I think she realised she was on a table with 8 other blokes and we all liked a laugh, so eventually she removed her glasses cos she realised they were not having the desired effect.

I asked where she would stream it, so I could share it in CC. Anyway, not only was she appear to be Chinese, she was actually from China. She said I would probably not be able to get it.

Hey ho, it did not bother me, cos I figured that everyone I know knew I was in Vegas.

Unfortunately, I have no details for you Mr. pirate.
In fact, I haven't played live since COVID came along. That's when I got hooked online and on CC. The vloggers' wave only got bigger lately.
