I've seen reels videos from them, but not live fortunately. It can be quite annoying. It's a vile world where everything has to be made into internet content.

What's annoying about it?
It's just a player playing with the phone in front of them. No noise or distraction of any sort. They're only filming the table, the cards, the chips and some hands. And they ask permission before doing it anyway.

Those attention seeking dudes are incredible annoying and if i would have one of them at my table i would definitely tell him where he can put his camera.

I only play online. But I can say that if there was a blogger at my table filming me without my permission, his phone would most likely be smashed.
That's the spirit! Give 'em the Sonny Corleone treatment. ;)

As long as they did it silently and added the narration afterwards, which I think they do, I'd be okay with it.

I have never had opportunity to meet a vlogger in casino but I do enjoy to watch vlogs on YouTube about their experience in different casino games. It’s fun

I find it fun to watch too. And if you played live poker more often, you'll certainly come across one of them.

I look at this as helping someone out with their hobby/job. It doesn't affect me at all to help someone out. :)

That's another way to look at it, and a good one too (y). Besides, I don't really see any distraction from a player/vlogger who just plays the game like anyone else with a phone in front of them, not even showing people's faces.
They record a certain number of hands where they're involved and do their editing off the table.

I’d actually be totally fine being filmed if it’s the final table of a big tournament. That feels like a special moment and kind of cool to have on video.

But for smaller tournaments or cash games, I’m not really into it. Those feel more private, and I just want to play without cameras around. So yeah, depends on the situation — big moments are fine, everything else not.

There are no cameras around, just a player like everyone else, with a phone in front of them, aiming at the middle of the table.

Yeah, it’s becoming pretty common now, especially at live cash tables.
I’ve sat with a couple of poker vloggers. Personally, I don’t mind as long as it’s handled respectfully — camera fixed on them, no faces or hole cards visible, and the table is informed beforehand. When it’s done professionally, it barely affects the game.
That said, I’ve also seen players refuse, and I completely understand why. Some people value privacy, don’t want their decisions or bankroll discussed online, or just don’t feel comfortable being part of content without consent. Others worry it might change table dynamics or give the vlogger an unintended edge.
Bottom line for me: consent and transparency matter. If everyone at the table is informed and comfortable, it’s fine. If even one player isn’t, the camera should stay off — poker’s already high-variance without adding social pressure.

Totally true. Nothing to add to that.
