Message: [QUOTE="JOKERKING, post: 1326227, member: 60648"] i had $50 and lost $40 in a cash game above my bankroll(got bad beaten and sucked out on the river a couple times and just went on monkey tilt), i stopped playing when i only had $10 and didnt want to go busto. i was depressed and didnt play for a couple days, but eventually got back on and was determined to win all my money back + interest! lol. so how did manage to grind my $10 bankroll all the way back up? i multitabled the 25cent 45 men sit and goes. only 7 players get in the money but out of the 45 players at least 30 of them are donkies and/or inexperienced playes. all you have to do is pick your spot and double up 2-3 times in the tourney to be in the final table and in the money, and with so many bad players its pretty easy to double up. they will call all in with ace rags, shove all in with a bluff, call your all in with a draw, call all in with middle/bottom pair, call all in with small pocket pairs. so all you have to do is show them down with good hands to double up off them. i multitable 20 at a time in a session and with such a small field size and lots of bad players i am in the money almost 30%. and if you are an average to above average player you can easily have that same percentage. and out of the 20 or so tourneys that i play in one session i win 1 or two of them and finish 2nd/3rd in a couple of others and 4th-7th in a couple others. in my best session i finished with $14 profit, and on my worst session i only finished with like -$1 or so. i would suggest playing these sng's if you have small bankroll, very easy to beat, very little variance, and depending on how good you are it can be very profitable, especially if you multitable these sng's. i would actually suggest multitabling as many as you can, because no matter how good you play these sng's you will get sucked out a couple of times and lose a to a couple of bad beats. with that being said i have grinded about $80 profit in just the last week and a half, could have been a lot more if i played more. thats my advice for you, since i was basically in the same situation you are in right now and ended up building my bankroll fast this way. if you are good at tourneys/sng's then definitely do that, but if you are more of a cash player then just go to the micro's and play the lowest limit. hope i helped [/QUOTE]
