As stated by others, Poker will be around, and you're still young. So take the parents advice and really think about that which you wish to do. Don't just say you're good at something after 10 games and because you won a free-roll doesn't mean nada (not trying to be rude), but everyone has won a free-roll 1 time or another but that doesn't mean they have a "Talent" for the game, just means they won a free-roll and nothing else.

Last note I'd like to leave you is this. The Car+College money is more for you now than poker funds can do for you at the present. The goal to which you have a better chance to actually accomplish is getting that car+money for College from your parents than you would from actually winning a 100+k score (Not saying It can't happen)+you got to take into the actual fact that you actually are only 16, so even on the off chance that If (Big If), you won 100+k you more than likely wouldn't even see that money since you actually had no right to gamble in the first place. So all roads lead back to the only route that you have and that's College+Car, and to achieve that you must listen to your parents
