I've already got it all set to Tivo everything for wsop every Tuesday. I was just recently reading about the big flip with putting the main event on before all of the satellites. Their reasoning seems to have to do with building off of the fact that the main event is the primary draw and with such a huge following, they can capitalize on TV market share.

Did anybody notice the schools of fish all over the tables when this was on? I made almost $15 on the penny tables in about an hour and a half. I logged on they were everywhere...then in a couple hours they were all gone :D

And me making $15 anywhere is a big deal!!! :D

rerun it on saturdays and they will continue to run it on various channels for years to come. I still see main event highlights from 1995 and such. OMG. but if it works for them, they're gonna do it. I notice there are no shortage of commercials.

No, haven't seen Phil yet, but I haven't watched the episode. if it is anything like normal, it should be fairly entertaining. :D

Well in that case I'm not going to watch it.

Okay, I lied, I'm still going to watch it. I just won't get my hopes up. I really like the tantrums he threw on High Stakes Poker. And since it was a cash game, he could just keep rebuying and crying. Loved it. :D

Yes, Phil is an ass. The two things that I took away from the WSOP after seeing him were that 1) He's tall. I don't think it always comes accross on TV how big this guy is. 2) He's very nice/gracious when he wins. When he gave his speach after winning his 10th bracelet he seemed like a very nice guy. I guess it's much easier to be nice after you win.

Also, Matusow made $2500 off other pros in side bets that Hellmuth would win.

All I know is that they are out to get Phil. He said so himself. They are out to "Kill Phil" LOL. That was funny though, his arogant ass shows up late like usual and then two hands in a row he faces potential elimination. The only reason he didn't get busted was because the fish he was up against didn't know how to play their hands. They were huge favorites and let the jumbo trout himself slip away.

Yep, like the kid from my alma mater (Penn State) who decided it would be a good idea to slow play AA vs. Phil. Phil even said that if the kid raised, Phil would have gone broke.
