So for example the big blind got knocked out and the button moved and the guy who would have been in the small blind is now gone (empty seat, was bb and just got knocked out) there would be no sb, the bb would still post however. This would be the only way it would work, the BB would get moved to the next player in line, dealer button ect. I'm sure this is how I remember this being played out each time.
