Day 2 Update Well day 2 ended about an hour ago and after a break I have decided to blog and then get back into the fray. Day 2 went just as well as Day 1 if not better. These .02 / .04 games are so soft it is unbelievable. Not that I haven't had any shortage of luck on my side. I played about 1.5k hands today and in that I got aces once which is weird because yesterday I got aces 4 times. Just a weird observation. Anywho on to what actually happened: Session 1 - 4:01pm - 5:30pm Session 1 was pretty mediocre for the most part. I stayed about even at the 17$ mark for about an hour until I pushed in the end to about 20$. The action was slower then usual (perhaps better players playing). In the end my wireless router went out and I deemed it a sign that I should stop that session for the day. I multi-tabled .02 / .04 Havanna Tables the entire time. One interesting story from this blog is that I get a lot of people asking me why I am playing such low stakes compared to before. One such person claimed to have played with me often at higher stakes and we had a long chat which turned out interesting. In the end I put on a real hurting of a beating on her (almost felt bad .... almost....) which you can see on hand #1 of my favorite hands from day 2. Session 2 - 10:00pm - 12:00am (o.k. so my session went a bit over but I will still put it as day 2) Session 2 was very very streaky. I was on my dual screen computer which allowed me to play more then four tables. At this point since I am legally by my bankroll status able to play .02 / .04 comfortably I upped my buy-in to 1$ instead of the .50 cents I was buying with. Usually I buy-in for max but only when single or double tabling. When the number of tables reaches three or four then I have to lower the buy-in to keep my bankroll safer. Anywho, the added buy-in turned out to pay dividens right away as all of my double ups were up to 2$ instead of 1$ and so forth. The tables (except for one staunch table that I was receiving beats in) were running very hot. I ran up to 7 tables at one time (five .02 / .04 tables and two .60 Sit n Gos). I lost both Sit N Gos without winning any hands basically. One cash game was running slow and I kept getting bad beat in. The other four tables seemed to be going too good to be true but in the end it wasn't a dream and I ended each table above 3$ (two had over 7$ when I finished). I won my biggest pot yet at this stage which was for 4.32$. A very very good session. Overall, I started the day at 17.07$ and ended the day at 34.30$. I doubled my bankroll for the second day in a row (I don't expect the trend to continue). I am ahead of schedule as far as jumping limits goes but I fully expected the first one to be that way. I expect to jump up to .05 / .10 tables sometime tomorrow when I reach the 500 BB necessary (50$ required). Here is a screenshot at the end of the day.
