I forget how much I was down after the session but it couldn't have been more then 2$. It was a very frustrating session. I might have gotten Kings and Queens 8 - 9 times and I lost 5 -6 of them by virtue of preflop all-in. But you gotta figure that eventually the good luck I was having was going to catch up to me. Luckily for me these players are so horrible that all the bad luck I was having didn't really effect anything too drastically. I suspect that if I was playing this loose and had this luck in the higher levels I would not be so fortunate. Break - I took a break from about 5:45pm - 7:45pm. This is lunch time for me since I live on the pacific coast of the USA and I am three hours behind that time. I had two personal pizzas and some chips. After which I started to have a crazy pain in my right cheek area. So to cope so I could play the rest of the day I popped an IB profin which made everything better but I was quite out of it for the remainder of the day and still am. Session 2 - Session 2 pretty much was a bogged down version of session 1 today. It lasted from 7:48 pm - 9:50pm. I needed to eat dinner at this point but I basically ended up 6$ and ended up in very prime postion to get to the next level. I was very excited after this. During this time I chatted with some of my real life poker playing buddies and was talking about the challenge. Session 3 - Session 3 lasted from 11:00pm - 12:57am. As I said earlier it spilled over into day 4 but I will blog about it together. Session 3 was very fun for me. There was a lot of up and downs and though I ended up being 2 - 5$ from my goal for about an hour or two (I even passed it then lost a big pot to fall back below it) I eventually attained by goal though a little later then I might have liked. Threre were so many great hands from this session that I will show five of my favorite hands this time as opposed to the usual three. Overall, I gotta say I enjoyed playing at the .02 / .04 level even though the stakes were so low. I found out the turbo micro stakes sit n gos are horrible and really offer no chance for players of skill to work their way up nor is there enough of them to make a profit. I won't be playing any more sit n gos until I can play at the 2 + .20$ level where my options open up considerably. Until then I will be playing strictly NLHE cash games and the one .05/.10 PLO table there is (I am very dissapointed there is only one PLO table at this level). I will be taking this all into account at each level and making suggestions to the site where necessary. I will be taking a short break and going to the grocery store then coming back to start my experience at the next level. I am ahead of schedule by about 3.5 days as far as jumping levels goes but I know full well that this is how it should be since I am playing the easiest games first.
