Day 3 Q & A and Hands Day 3 Q & A Q: How many hands do you plan on playing at a time? A: It depends. I have two seperate computers and one has one screen and the other is setup with dual screens. If I am playing on the single screen cpu then I will usually play 4 tables at once. If I am playing on the dual screen cpu I can play 5 - 8 but I usually limit it to 4 - 5 (One time I did go up to 7 so far) for skill purposes. Obviously the more tables you play the less you can pay attention. I expect the number of tables I play to drop as I go up in stakes as I will be playing against the better players. Q: You can't do it. Just stop. Your not going to be able to finish. A: This isn't really a question but I will answer to it anywho. Maybe I can't and maybe I can. Either way I feel this is a doable challenge for me with the right parameters in place. I will not stop blogging my challenge unless I say the challenge is over on each and everyone of my forum and blogging sites. I am not saying you can't say that I can't do it obviously but I do truly believe this is doable by the right players with the right amount of time. -------------------------------------- Favorite Hands of Day 3 1. Another fishy hand There is so many of these I could show and I know it is becoming redundant to show the fish hands but really I think this is very representative of what happened at these tables. My final analysis is that about 2 / 10 players are this fishy and 5 / 10 are donkeys. You might find one or two decent (I didn't say good) players at a table. A very, very interesting hand This is a very interesting call I made here I think. Looking back I still agree with my call and the odds I was getting but then again I didn't know the cards until they were flipped over. Let me know what you think. The are of Calling a Bluff Sometimes the bet just seems so out there with the cards out there that you know something is awry. I couldnt put my opponent on any hand that wasn't a bluff and ended up making this call. Was it a brilliant read? Not so much as a horrible betting pattern but I'll take credit for brilliance :) Starting Hand #17658685-798 mrsticket5960 is the Dealer Shuffling Cards CowboySquirrel1987 Posted Small Blind $0.02 MACKLM Posted Big Blind $0.04 Dealing Cards You Were Dealt (Ks, Ah) imallout2 Raised to $0.14 mrsticket5960 Folds CowboySquirrel1987 Raised to $0.34 MACKLM Folds imallout2 Calls $0.20 Dealing Flop (3h,2c,8s) CowboySquirrel1987 Checks imallout2 Checks Dealing Turn (Jh) CowboySquirrel1987 Checks imallout2 Checks Dealing River (6d) CowboySquirrel1987 Checks imallout2 Bets $0.72 CowboySquirrel1987 Calls $0.72 imallout2 Shows (Qc, Ts) CowboySquirrel1987 Shows (Ks, Ah) CowboySquirrel1987 Wins $2.06 from Pot 1 with : Ace High 5. The worst of all the beats! This really isn't the most horrible beat of many that I've encountered but it was the worst I took on the day and really hit me in a spot I didn't want to be hit in. This was when I was close to reaching my goal and I found myself way out in front but the turn card killed my hopes and aspirations. The reason this was such a bad beat for me is the amount of money involved and the timing. That is my sob story for today.
