I'm a rookie at this game.Ive been dealt A A several times.My question is what is the correct way to play them.I usaualy try and slow play to the turn.Looking foward to hear your advice.

there's no correct way to play any hand, everything always changes at the tables and you have to be able to adjust to the swings.
anyone that tries to tell you the "correct" way really doesn't play enough

My AA's

I've learned when playing A's that when I give my opponents an inch they'll sometimes take a mile. Since your chances of victory with Aces diminish with the greater number of players staying in the hand, I've found its best for me to go all in preflop in the hopes of scaring out the mediocre hands that might otherwise catch a lucky flop. You might scare EVERYONE away but often you will get at least one caller and doubling up is never a bad thing. Thats just my opinion though. Feel free to read the table and your opponents and adjust your strategy.

Never ever ever slow play pocket aces , you will get crushed , bet them hard maybe 4 x bb and slam it

/agree with philivory. Don't slowplay them, but don't go all in immediately either (unless you get raised big then go all in every time). Slowplaying will decrease your value from the hand because you are not betting while you are ahead, and betting while ahead is where you make your money in poker.

Don't slow play Aces - slowplaying creates smaller pots with more opponents. Big Pocket pairs like QQ+ are best played heads up or against just 2 other opponents. You do not want to slow play AA except for very rare occasions when you wil do it for deceptive reasons. You should also not limp from early position with AA hoping to re-raise unless you are extremely certain it will be raised behind you (even if you succeed in limp raising frop EP this sends up a flag and opponents can narrow your hand rang down significantly).

So why raise with Aces -
1. You know you absolutely have the best hand so why not build a pot while we are big favourites.
2. Because big pairs play better short handed we want to raise to push out alot of the weaker hands (with every extra limper your hand strengh decreases substantially).

Don't ALWAYS slowplay aces....once in a very great while it would be ok....If you are pretty sure that if you limp Mr. aggressive behind you is going to raise....then you might want to just limp, then jam the pot after him...

I have been burned too many times trying to slow-play AA. I think, especially in a freeroll situation, the only way to play AA is like you mean it. At least if you do get burned someone will almost always make you feel better by insulting the winner lol.

it has so many difficult way to play this hand. your position is very important. that's the better, if you raised this card, and you don't make a mistake

The only time I'll slowplay AA is if I'm severely short-stacked in a tourney and need to get lucky to get back into the game by getting as many callers as possible and building a pot. Otherwise, I'm raising to get the trash out. At that point I look at the players left in the hand and decide who I need to worry about depending on the texture of the flop. Knowing that certain loose players will call with garbage regardless just to take a shot at me, if they're in the hand, I'll consider them a threat on a flop like 4,6,8. More solid players I would consider more likely a threat on a 9,Q,K flop.

Then, either way, I'll lose with them.

I'm a rookie too. I have seen many things happen with AA, it's hard to say. Sometimes it is good to do a little of everything. If you slow play them make sure there isn't a possible straight, flush, etc... on the board. If so you didn't do yourself any justice. The aces are pretty good to slow play and there are two pair on the board and you get a third ace on turn or whatever, then that's pretty good (full house).

you shouldnt slowplay aces. because if you slowplay, you are alowing weakness hands to enter in the pot for nothing and then if they hit something good like trips in the flop then you will lose lots of chips by your mistake. dont hesitate, just raise 4 or 55 bb and try to play with the less opponents as possible, this will increase a lot your chances of winning the hand.

With AA I like to try and isolate it against one other stack while at the same time getting as much money as I can preflop to get that one guy along with me.. usually a pot sized raise does the trick.

Do not slow play A's as that gives the rest of the table a chance to possibly pick up their set or straight on the flop. Do bet initially the strong hand that you have, someone will always call you.

there's no generell correct way to play the Rocks.
It's from situation to situation diffrent.
But the pre-flop should be played slow----> blinds 1/2$---->raise to 4$

AA is a tough hand for decision when it comes to me cause you never really know whats about to come up on the table I have lost with pocket A's many times, some people seem to think its the best hand but honestly its not all the time. What if someone gets two pair then they have you beat.

I think you have to have to make a big bet when you have aces, because if you dont, you are giving the rival a chance to get something on the flop. So if you make an important bet preflop, you would put him in an all in or fold situation.. and you would be always favourite with aces.
