The river: a 4! I hit my straight! The big blind checked, so I went ahead and raised just 3BB to watch them hand me their money. [/SIZE] [SIZE=3]Sure enough, button folded, but big blind bet the pot. I immediately re-raised all in, and was insta-called. Uh-oh. I showed 8 7o, a straight to eight. Of course, I limped; I always love to play this hand for some bad reason. Wouldn’t you know the flop came T 2 6 rainbow! And then the turn was another ten! One poor soul had a ten as well, so needless to say, I think he was pretty upset when I took down the $3.56 pot with a full house, tens over twos![/SIZE] [SIZE=3]$2 + 0.25 STT Turbo: Hand 19:[/SIZE] [SIZE=3]I was in middle position with pocket nines; standard 2.5x raise. Small blind calls, Big Blind shoves. WE BOTH CALL. I figured that I was dead since nines are only so good, and I only had 600 chips left now. But the flop came 3 T 8 with two hearts; not bad at all for the pocket pair. Small blind shoved, I figured he had the hearts or the top pair, so I called.[/SIZE] [SIZE=3]Much to my chagrin, he shows pocket eights. Then, all-in guy shows pocket tens! Talk about a misread…I left that table beaten very soundly, and pocket eights guy wasn’t very happy either.[/SIZE] [SIZE=3]$2 + 0.25 STT Turbo: Hand 45 (Different Table):[/SIZE] [SIZE=3]4 PLAYERS REMAINING. Villian was OOP and limped preflop. I looked down at Big Slick (A K suited), so I raised to 500. He went all-in; I insta-called. He flips over pocket twos, and I hit a King on the flop. Imagine how upset I was when he hit his deuce on the river and tremble.[/SIZE] [SIZE=3]$3 + 0.30 MTT 90p Knockout: Hand 49:[/SIZE] [SIZE=3]Guy to my right only had 59 chips. He called all-in, so I went all-in so I could have a shot at collecting his bounty. With K 7 os, I figured I may have a high card or get lucky. I was called. By pocket Aces. But if you think that K 7 will lose to pocket aces, think again; I hit a straight to J, and my tourney life continued. He was very respectful; no angry text comments or anything. That’s poker folks.[/SIZE] [SIZE=3]Hand 85: the sickest hand I’ve ever seen (besides my beating aces with K 7) 3 players to the flop, it comes 6 6 7 rainbow. Guy acting first shoves, bluffing. He is insta-called. The caller shows a 6, all he has is J 5 os. Yes, he ended up making a straight and winning :-/[/SIZE] [SIZE=3]So as you can see, it was a very memorable night for me at the tables.
