Exactly. If KK is ahead of AA in your particular sample then you haven't seen enough hands for the variance to play itself out. AA wins 3-4% more often than KK vs. any two cards (a random hand) preflop. This may not sound huge but it makes a big difference. The main difference between AA and KK is that AA retains it's power against even the tightest ranges like 4% {JJ+ AK}. KK Needs the Villain's range to be a little wider to retain a sizable advantage. Just as a quick example, AA will win 85% of the time against a random hand, and will still win about 82% against TWO random hands (in the case of a three way All-In). Kings don't keep their strength as well as Aces do once the pot goes multiway. The Aces are much more robust. Facing two shoving opponents, the pocket Kings' equity drops from 82% down to 69%*. whereas the Aces' equity remains above 80%. This is why JJ, and QQ need enter pots with a big raise, to ensure that they get to the flop/showdown facing preferably only 1 opponent, because any additional opponents in the pot drastically reduce their equity.
