I'm that dopey, and it does go back to losing AA to AA way back.  At any rate, I'm surprised by how often folding what should be a great hand works out for the better.

Nuttier still is that with a raising frenzy I'm more likely to call with middle to small suited connectors and pairs, figuring they're more likely to be live.

I got issues man.  I got issues.

Anyway, that sort of thing can sort of explain how sometimes a marginal to weak hand is actually strong.

As for the K7s/Q2s question.  There are too many possibilities for why they'd call.  Not the least of which is that you could be dealing with absolute beginners who frequently love any and all paint.  I do have to guess that they don't always win with that junk, and you're having the same selective memory issues I can be accused of having from time to time.
