Everyone says its variance and I've read that sadly, as much as we'd like to wish and believe, variance doesn't even out. I'm still on a poker break and taking time to read the forums, see how other members play or react with certain cards and situations. I think when I no longer feel agitated when I think about losing to a donk, then I know I can take the game on again and come out a better player (maybe even a winner).

Also, if you're on Stars, you might want to try out the Poker School Online and read up their course material. Been doing that and even signed up for live training. Tournaments and cash games require very different plays. So maybe if you can avoid getting trapped, you might want to change your playing style.

Additional thing to note, something I've learnt here, don't chase your draw and premium hands are always monsters pre-flop but can be really crap and weak. Have to learn to let go of them hands, no matter how pretty they are, and yes, play with position.
