It is one hour north of Dallas and cost of living in the area is reasonable especially if you don't mind living in a small town. The major tours come through or nearby. WSOP, WPT, Card Players come to Winstar, Choctaw Casino and Tulsa Hard Rock. In addition it is a short trip to Tunica and Kansas City if any major tournaments come through. The buy ins are $65 but i am not sure how many are usually in the field. They have larger buy ins on the weekend so it should average out to your target buy in. Great Poker Rooms in the area.
