All In Question?

When two people are all in preflop, I REALLY hate it when players not in the hand comment on what they had before the flop comes. I realize it doesn't matter since the players in the hand are all in but I find it rude. Let's say you pocket tens against pokcet jacks and someone said they folded a 10. It would make you a little annoyed. What do you think?

It's bad poker etiquette and they shouldn't be allowed to say anything at all pertaining to the hand since they're not involved in the hand and the hand is still in play. Drives me absolutely nuts and if I could I would love to send them a virus and wipe out their pc.

Doesn't really matter as long as all the action is completed.....

That's just it - the hand was NOT in play.

The cards were face up right???

I agree. Kinda rude. "I folded a K, you're drawin' dead man!" How is that helpful? If you're not in the hand and you have to say something, say: "Good luck, you two!" Okay, that might be a little too nerdy, but you get the idea.

Ok not a good move but still not right to even announce what they were holding. Annoying yes very and frustrating since now you know one of your outs is gone.

Just wait until the hand is completed and the pot is dragged. It's pretty bad to crush someone's hopes of hitting a 2 outer when they're only down to 1.

if your not in the hand what does it matter what u had or could of got stfu and play the next hand if u want to talk . but as we ahve all seen some people just have to comment on everyone elses play .

Once there is no more action and the cards are up there is no problem revealing your hand.

No matter how many times you repeat in this thread that it is not good poker etiquette, you will be still mistaken.

The person that gets all upset that when someone has revealed that they had one of his suckout cards after a bad play is the one with the problems--get over it!

I seem to be in the minority, but it doesn't bother me and I don't see the problem with it. It changes nothing, you just know a few second earlier that you're probably not going to win the hand. (or lose the hand or whatever) I don't do it myself, since I'm pretty quiet when I play, but it doesn't really matter to me when others do it. I'd never heard it was considered bad etiquette though, I guess that makes a difference.

I'm pretty sure it's also bad etiquette to hit people in the mouth at the poker table.

Even gabby old women.

This doesn't bother me at all. I've never seen anyone get upset by this before and never really thought that much about it. If I'm one of the players involved I'll usually start asking others if any of them folded a 10 or a jack. I would like to know before the flop.

I would think you would want to know, that way, if you hit your one outer, you would be in position to immediately apologize profusely, and offer to return his money, for being a lucksack donkey, no?

It wouldn't bother me either. Heck I've seen the pros do it on T.V. Heck I've had players flash their cards to me while I'm still in the hand. You want to give me more info? Sure I'll take it.

This doesn't matter at all. Sure, someone's going to be disappointed if they hear that one of their outs has already been played. Maybe after a couple of all ins and a fold, you might even hear that someone folded the other two tens you're playing. It doesn't affect the hand one bit. It just means you need to look for a flush or straight - chalk it up to bad luck and move on.

Can't say it bothers me and as has been pointed out above, there's no rule problem once the action is complete and the hands are turned over.
