Any interest in owning a piece of joose?

i originally had no intentions of making my way to vegas, but a trip i was supposed to make to seattle has been postponed, leaving a gap in my summer schedule.

someone brought this up in another thread, but if people have any interest in staking me partially in one of the smaller wsop events (either the 1k rebuy, 1500, 2500 or 3k holdem events) i'm down for playing, paying for my airfare/hotel obv, and splitting the winnings. there is live coverage from the wsop website in most if not all of these events, and i believe one or two are being covered by ESPN.

obviously dont send any money to my stars account yet, i'm just trying to get an idea of how many, if anyone would want to stake $50/$100/$200 increments in me to play one or two of these events.

my mtt record is probably my best out of any of my mtt/cash/sng records, and i can show pt tourney or OPR reports to verify it. i have a 15% f.late according to OPR, and a 22% itm rate, so if i do cash it looks like it would be a deep cash finish.

with my recent mtt win, i could obviously buy into one of these straight up, but i feel like this would be a more fun way to go about playing one. and also i'm a big fan of the 'dont put all your eggs in one basket' proverb.

I would probably be interested. I'm hoping to go out and play next year in the WSOP, this could be a way to play vicariously this year.

I'm interested, but a little early for my to say yes or no. How much time do we have until we have to say yes or no?

23rd is the last $1500 NLHE event. 2nd of July is the last 1k rebuy event. If I played the rebuy, i'd want to have raised around $3k+, and i would end up adding on another rebuy or two from my own money if so.

I'm not a big fan of re-buys, but whatever you are comfortable with.

Joose, I might have some interest. I don't know when you're planning on going, but if you're going to be in town this weekend and still want to go up to Harrah's for some live play (might be best to do a tourney if you're going to play in a WSOP event), let me know. I'm probably going to go up there on Sat.

Not to put a downer on the whole thing mate but it's a huge gamble for anyone staking you....
