He is a poker dealer.  Many years ago he won the Casino Employees $500 WSOP bracelet event.  A couple years later he made another final table at a WSOP event and he was the short stack at a table with a bunch of Pros Including Phil Hellmuth.

Phil Hellmuth starts going on and on about what a tough table this is, How there are 10 bracelets at this table and isn't that incredible.

This poker dealer replies "actually there are 11 bracelets"

Phil is adamant, no there are only 10...there are my 6 plus this one that one this one that one etc...

The poker dealer replies "How much do you want to bet there are 11 bracelets at this table?"

Phil says "I'll bet you a lammer there are only 10 bracelets at this table" (FYI A lammer is a $500 WSOP tournament token that only buys you into WSOP tournaments.  They are easy to sell).

The dealer says yes to the deal, the dealer pulls out his bracelet from his pocket.  After the dealer explains how he won it, Phil Hellmuth claims that bracelet doesn't count because it's the Casino Employees event and claims that he actually won the bet!

Well, the table shames Phil into paying the poker dealer and so he won a $500 lammer....so he says he always brings it to poker tourneys now...
