"excitement enhanced" might be the term we're looking for here. And you're right... most people who complain are speaking from their bad beat experience. If you re-read my posts above, you'll notice that I wasn't complaining, just pointing out my findings. The poker sites are free to present their games to the public in any legal way they choose.
