Has anyone found a clue as to when the Universe is ready to give you cards?

There are times when I can't miss the flop, regardless of the cards I hold. So I call if I have crap, or raise if I don't. The results are the same, I make money on those days. And for some reason the days I'm golden I'm playing at a limit conservative for my BR.

Other times I can have big pairs dominating pf, or flop open ended straight flush draws, and can not get a favorable result no matter how many times I get into a dominating situation. This typically happens after I've increased my limits. Don't get me wrong, I still get involved in +EV situations.

The only other Universal constant I can find is that the poo-storm usually hits me late in the 3rd week of a month (19th ~ 27th) if it's coming.

Has anyone else discovered some mystic variable that seems to co-incide with the results of the hands they hit (or don't)?

by how calm you are, i think that it hasnt happened 100% yet

wait until you have it for a month or two
then you will want to break things

in reality though, it happens
you can only ride through it, and take a break if you really are in a losing streak

i have literally had days where i couldnt stop folding and they bothered me, but eventually it will turn around

I was told it was the poker gods. Maybe they are like they are just a myth. If I am running cold I just dont play for a week or more. I usually hit the ground running when I start again. That might just work for me though.
