Anyone playing in WSOP this year?

I'll be playing in my first wsop event this year. Going to play in the $1500 NL event on June 13. I won my entry via a regular home game I used to play in.

What event are you playing in this year? How did you get your buy-in?

I will be playing in the Ladies event. Will buy my way in - selling 50% of my action as part of a package.

There's a WSOP Circuit Event going on in Cherokee, NC this week and next. I cant afford to play in the main event but Im thinking of playing in a 2 day event with a buy in of $365. Never been to a Circuit Event but I'd better take advantage of it being this close to my home.

I am playing event #14 $1500 NLH and event #18 $1000 NLH. GL Mrregister! The daily deepstack at the Rio is one you should play as well!

I may play the Ladies Event but the Golden Nugget has some great low buy in tourneys I may consider playing in via LIPS

Not only the Nugget, but Binion's too. And Caesars and Venetian offer Deep-Stack Tournament Series with less expensive entries than the WSOP, but good money to be won and move you up the ladder. Always fun to try to find a commune of poker players/renters to join in the summer in Las Vegas!

I won a ticket the WSOP ME satty at Bovada. So I will be playing that, but it will be tough to win the ticket to WSOP.

I think people play super nitty in those events because everyone's so worried about getting bubbled. So if that's the case your best bet is to steal steal steal and steal some more.

Yeah I am planning on playing this way (if the table is right for it of course).

I am not playing the sattelite until June 2, so I have plenty of time to gear up. I was thinking about watching one of the statues to see how folks are playing.

I'm going to be out there June 28th through July 12th. Unless I win a satellite I won't be in any events though. There is always hope!
