I want to make it clear that I do not want to open further discussion about this.
 
With that being said, I don't think there is anything wrong with trying to accumulate wealth.  Many, many people are talented in business or in a big time money making endeavor.  And I think that those people have every right to want to pursue making a bunch of money using their talents.  
 
From there I think it is what you do with the money.  Some I have noticed want to hold onto it at all costs and they really aren't doing themselves or society in general any favors when they do that.  I am a believer in trying to help out as many people as you reasonably can with the money you don't need (need being defined as money you almost certainly will never spend supporting your lifestyle).
 
I am not going to lay any claims that I am better or worse than anyone else that has lots of money.  Nor am I even saying that I have a "Robin Hood" mentality.  I just know intuitively that it feels weird to have a lot of money and to see so many people whose lives could change on what seems to me like a small amount of money.  I have a hard time not helping people in those spots.  I have noticed many of my financial peers take a lot of joy in those situations because it makes them feel better to know that they are doing significantly better than someone else.  That is the part where I want to not be around those types of people.
