Throwing away $100 in a session is simply not affordable for the average guy from slovenia, while You can find some germans, canadians or US players that can afford to lose such an amount...

And even if You end up at a table with only good plyaers that doesnt mean there will be no badbeats and suckouts... I don't think good poker is only about playing the top 10 starting hands...
There are many players that are good AND loose... Playing it tight is not the only way to go about it.

And once your opponents figure out that You are only choosing prime hands it becomes easy for them to figure out when they have you beaten with weaker hands... Then they will play weaker hands more often against You because it gets easy to tell if they should fold em or hold em after the flop...

As long as You cannot consitently make a profit on low stakes I see no good reason to move up...
Luck is still envolved, no matter how much money You bring to the table...
And the higher the limits the more likely it is that You have some real good players against You
who will have an edge on You even if luck would not be involved...
