I suppose the opening poster is some kind of regular spammer or something, otherwise I don't see why nobody believes him.

It's certainly possible he did what he says. Check out this thread with Pokertracker graph and stats. $84->$10,000 in 14,000 hands through aggressive moving up limits and running good:
