It is good to pick a game you think you are the best at and work on it, instead of changing the games you play all the time, that way you can focus on that 1 game. Also you shouldn't say "ok im gonna make X amount of money today" as a goal, instead say "I'm gonna play X amount of hands today or this month". Some people play 5k hands a month(more casual)..some people play 50k or more(more extreme).  So try to start off with a realistic number of hands you think you can play in a day comfortably, and set yourself a 1 month goal that way. Or if your a SnG/MTT player do X number of games instead of hands. Also make sure you follow BRM (bank roll management) to ensure that you won't go broke, or at least go broke as fast. AND of course posting hands in the HA(hand analysis) thread to get another person's opinion is a wonderful idea, just make sure you use some kind of hand converter so that everyone can read it properly. GL to you if you decide to try and start a bankroll from $0.. it can be done and I believe there are a few here at cc who have done it also. If you have the means to deposit tho, you could always try n skip the frerolling part and start off with a small bankroll for 2nl or 5nl and work your way up from there, but that's your choice.
