You leave too many chips no the table for someone else with an inferior hand to collect. Bluffs need to be done correctly though. It needs to form part of your story. You're not going to bluff your villain off every flop turn or river. But if you bet the draws on the board and then make a big bet when they ostensibly "hit", it can be quite intimidating for the opponent. It looks like you bet a draw and hit it. Easy fold for your friendly neighbourhood villain. Similarly, if the story makes no sense. (e.g. betting a draw that DOESNT hit and then playing like it does), then bluff catchers can stand firm. Remember though -- you cannot bluff a fish/call station. They'll often call you down with Ace high or a pair of two'sno matter how hard you barrel through them. So get bluffing today!
