I kept trying for it again and i lost thousands. this has happened to many gamblers. there is no such thing as a free lunch sure you hear stories of guys that do it but you also hear stories of guys who win the lottery and i can assure you a lot more people lose that then win it. your highly likely to go broke doing this and then chase it and lose a lot lot more. after finding myself over drawn by several hundred at christmas wondering where $5000 had gone which i had worked hard for enduring hell over a year and half, i decided there and then not to quit poker but to behave and take it seriously to use proper bank roll management to study the game to make it happen for me. since then I have won all this back and a lot more and payed my whole way through uni with it. Poker for me so far has been like a war in the trenches slowly taking a few inches at a time. I have steadily won a weeks wages consistently then lost a bit and taken a step back for every two steps forward gradually progressing but seeming like a grind and then getting big scores from tournaments every now and then. since i took it seriously and took a disciplined approach it has been happening for me. and I know it will continue to do so. you need to work properly for it though it takes discipline and effort and grind nothing in life worth having is easy it won't come easy your going to have bad days and grinds but if your determined and make the effort and fight it out and study the game and think about it and stick to proper bank roll management it will definitely happen for you. and it will be worth it. if you do what your doing at the moment though youll lose a heck of a lot and really regret it.
