I see a lot of Brazilians to in all tournaments , they make first 3 countries in almost any tournament as number of entries and a lot of final tables and wins .
Fair play to them they have step up their game greatly during the past couple of years,

I think that Brazilians believe that online poker is a way to make money at home, working at home is very valued here in Brazil, I live in Brasilia the capital of the country, a relatively new city .... until some time was quiet transit in the city, but now the traffic was very heavy in the peak hours I prefer not to face the transit .... maybe that is why many Brazilians seek in poker an alternative of earnings .... of course that Brazilian is also very dreamy like me for example, but we know that to be profitable in poker we have to study and train a lot .... a little luck also helps.

in Brazil casinos are prohibited and live poker is not a traditional game here, but even so many Brazilians have made money in world poker and poker matches with the Brazilian malandragem

I don’t know about Brazilian women playing poker, but I noticed that there are a lot of Brazilian players in Pokerstars who play very well, I would like to see Brazilian women in poker and it would be great for me to play with them!

I am Brazilian and I play poker a few years ago and really the game has grown a lot in the country and many people are studying and dedicating themselves. I always played for fun, but for some time I'm studying and practicing a lot so that someday I can make a profit.

Here in Brazil many see Poker as something beyond Hobby, a job and although only a few can achieve this difficult goal I believe it is one of the reasons why Brazil is in evidence

2 professional brazilian poker woman that I remember right now are; Maria Eduarda "Maridu" Mayrinck (Ex Team Pokerstars Pro) and Larissa Metran (among several others) Taking into account the female presence in the past there was a significant increase, but I also hope the number continues to increase it's good for us and for Poker

Brazil is one of the biggest country in the world and considering the fact that you can't play in real casinos there but you can play freely online it is pretty much expected to see many brazilian players on the tables. I personally do not note from which country are the players against me. It is a game and i try to win just like the other players. It is not something personal.

It is true that the number of players playing poker from brasil has increased but he was already very present from the beginning on poker star. I already met many of them who had a very good level.

In the present day the rise of poker here in Brazil is vertiginous. We see more and more clubs being opened, substantial increase of tournaments in all regions and existence of many national championships, such as BSOP and KSOP. This year we have stepped into the wsop circuit and welcome players from all over the world! More and more Brazilian players have stood out in the world and many have been dedicated to the intensive study of the game. I believe that Brazil is already in clear evidence in the sport and much more is to come!
